The goal of a newly renovated fraternity house by the year 2000 became reality due to the generosity of FarmHouse alumni and families. Three hundred sixty donors pledged more than $755,000 toward the project, for an average gift of $2097. Although our 32 percent participation rate may sound low, it is more than 10 percent greater than most projects of this type. We can be proud of our membership’s response to the “call to arms.” If the timing is better now for your participation in the project, please join your 360 brothers on the enclosed list of contributors by sending a check today.

We are no longer utilizing the services of Pennington and Company for pledge reminders, thank yous and gift receipts. The format of the reminders is different, as Kevin Meyer has taken over those duties. All reminders will be sent during the summer. Receipts for gifts to the University of Nebraska Foundation and the FarmHouse Foundation will continue to be sent to you for tax purposes from those entities. Receipts for gifts directly to the Nebraska FarmHouse Association will not be sent unless requested at the time of the gift. Although you will not be receiving a specific “thank you” from the association for each gift, please know that your generosity is greatly appreciated.
