Homecoming is Saturday, September 26th
The 2009 FarmHouse Homecoming Event will be on Saturday, September 26th – prior to the Husker football game against Louisiana-Lafayette.
Here are all the details you need to know…
• NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR…
Please do not go to The Union – we will not be there. We are going to hold the event at Chez Hay – located on the 2nd Floor of the building at 210 N. 14th St. (Formerly known as Rock-n-Roll Runza on the Northeast corner of 14th & ‘P’ Street) **Parking is available at the University Lutheran Chapel (1510 ‘Q’ St.) for $10.
• On the clock…
11:30 AM – Welcome and Registration
12:00 PM – Lunch begins
12:30 PM – FarmHouse Business Meeting
2:30 PM – Lunch and Meeting concludes
**At this time, a FarmHouse pre-game event begins (same location / Chez Hay). **Cash bar will be provided.
6:00 PM – Kickoff vs. the Ragin Cajuns!!

Barner’s Ball 2009 is Friday, September 25th
The Men of FarmHouse Fraternity invite you to attend the 5th Annual Barner’s Ball Alumni Formal on the evening of Friday, September 25th, 2009.
The evening will begin at 5:00 PM with guided tours of the Chapter House.
A social hour will then commence at 7:00 PM in the Yellowstone Ballroom at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club – located at 1800 Wilderness Woods Place,
Lincoln, NE 68512.
A buffet style dinner will be served at 7:30. Dinner will be followed by a brief presentation and a dance will cap off the evening.
The menu is as follows…
• Field Green Salad
• Homestyle Penne Pasta
• Garden Vegetable Crudite Platter
• Sautéed Farm Fresh Green Beans
• Garlic Mashed Potatoes
• Grilled Marinated Chicken Breast with Dijon-Rosemary Cream Sauce

Homecoming and Honor Class gatherings…2009
The following honor classes will be recognized during the Homecoming event. We have also provided information on individual class gatherings. This is only the information provided before the newsletter went to press – Please contact your class chairman or Andrew Loudon for current information & plans.
10 year class, 1996 initiates/1999 graduates – Erik Hoegemeyer (erikhoeg@wilkefarms.net)

o On the evening of Friday, September 25 Brother Mark Fahleson is having a party at his house for
all Barners, their guests, and anyone he or his wife Sara Deterding Fahleson met during college or since. The event will be at his Lincoln home and in an outside tent and will feature DJ Eric Thurber (Initiated 1989; Graduation Class 1992), who has done house parties all around the world in his spare time when he's not managing investments for the world's elite. So as to cover the costs, tickets will be $25/couple. More info will be forthcoming on this great event as Homecoming approaches.

o The 50 year class will meet for dinner at Misty's Restaurant, 6235 Havelock Ave. on Friday evening,
September 25th at 6:00 p.m. Walt has reserved a private room and is looking forward to a great showing.
60 year class, 1946 initiates/1949 graduates – Frank Loeffel (frloeffel@aol.com)
o Brother Frank Loeffel of Des Moines, IA, Honor Chairman for the 60 year class, has done a fabulous job of researching all of the surviving members of his WWII era class and plans to present a very interesting report on FarmHouse during the War years. This will be a real treat.
**At this time, the 60 year class is not planning an individual gathering.
FOOTBALL GAME TICKETS: At this time, the FH Association does not have access to tickets for the game. However, if you or a member of your class is looking for tickets, please email Matt McLaughlin (matt.mcl@cox.net) and we’ll try to connect ticket seekers with ticker sellers. (No Promises...)
